Product Overview
The Quectel RG255C is a series of 5G RedCap Sub-6 GHz LGA modules utilizing 3GPP Rel-17 RedCap technology. Featuring 5G LAN, URLLC, and Slicing capabilities, it delivers theoretical peak data rates of 223 Mbps downlink and 123 Mbps uplink. The module supports LTE Cat 4 and 5G Sub-6 SA mode while maintaining backward compatibility with Rel-15 and Rel-16 networks.
Designed with partial compatibility with Quectel's 4G EG2x series modules, the RG255C offers a compact solution for applications requiring medium speed, large capacity, low latency, and high reliability. Its smaller size facilitates flexible customer designs.

The RG255C series includes three variants: RG255C-GL, RG255C-NA, and RG255C-EU. It incorporates Qualcomm® IZat™ location technology Gen 9VT, supporting GPS, GLONASS, NavIC, BDS, and Galileo. The integrated GNSS receiver simplifies product design while delivering faster, more accurate, and reliable positioning.
